Private individuals, partnerships, associations or corporations licensed, regulated and empowered by the Mexican Goverment to assist importers and exporters in meeting Federal requirements governing imports and exports.

It refers to the documentation necessary to enable Mexican Customs to assess duties, collect statistics, and determine whether other requirements of law have been met.

The tax that is paid on the importation of goods is known as: General import tax (IGI) and the tax that is paid on export is the General export tax (IGE), usually exports are exempt from the payment of this last tax.

Non-tariff barriers to trade (NTBs) or sometimes called "Non-Tariff Measures (NTMs)" are trade barriers that restrict imports or exports of goods or services through mechanisms other than the simple imposition of tariffs.

Customs clearance work involves preparation and submission of documentations required to facilitate export or imports into the country, representing client during customs examination, assessment, payment of duty and co taking delivery of cargo from customs after clearance along with documents.

Is starts with the activation of the mechanism of automated selection, which determines if the goods that is presented before it authority will be subject to review.

The COVE is an e-value voucher; It is what will replace the Declaration of value, invoice, note of remission, ticket, the document that protects the value of the goods; that replaces junction documents such as pro-forma invoice, list of invoices, packing list, list of boarding.

The E -document is the document that is scanned or captured for effects of the COVE

The manifestation of value is a statement sworn under oath to tell the truth to the tax and customs authorities that the value of the goods and all those expenses generated by imports and affecting the customs value of goods are true and certain.
